Wednesday 23 September
12.30pm – 2pm, Frank Tate Room,
Ground Floor, Alice Hoy Building, University of Melbourne
In this seminar, Kristina Love will outline her role within the MGSE and then a panel of speakers will outline their engagement in various forms of Knowledge Transfer activity:
- John O’Toole on a partnership with the Royal Shakespeare company, Warwick University and teacher professional associations in Victoria;
- Desma Strong and Tim Brabazon on the ten years of collaboration with the CEO on a Student Wellbeing project; and
- Alun Jackson on practitioner-based research in the area of Problem Gambling.
These presentations will highlight how Knowledge Transfer emerges from, and informs research and/or teaching. In subsequent question time, we can further explore the relationship between Knowledge Transfer, Teaching and Research and share management strategies. Lunch will be provided.
