Melbourne Graduate School of Education International Students

Information for MGSE Students

There are a wide range of options for students from the Melbourne Graduate School of Education to undertake an Exchange or Study Abroad program.

Master of Teaching Students

The Master of Teaching has been designed flexibly, enabling students across Secondary, Primary and Early Childhood streams to complete the final 50 points of their program overseas*.

A list of Partner Institutions is available from the Melbourne Global Mobility website, as well as information on applications procedures, dates and important deadlines. Students are encouraged to speak with the Exchange Advisor well in advance of their planned study abroad. For assistance please contact Clare Ivanovski.

*Exceptions to this are students undertaking the Induction (Secondary or Early Childhood), the Research Option or the Early Years (Early Childhood) option.

Graduate Coursework and Research Students

Opportunities for students in the Master of Education and specialist Masters Programs are generally limited given the short duration of the program. Students are encouraged to discuss opportunities for exchange with Partner Institutions and the MGSE Exchange Advisor (contact details above).
