Placement Opportunities & Scholarships
Placement Opportunities
Students may have the opportunity to undertake one of their placements in rural Victoria, interstate or overseas. Availability varies between courses but may include:
- rural placements in the Mansfield and Camperdown areas
- Indigenous education programs
- exchange and study abroad programs
Information about specific placement opportunities will be posted here as it becomes available.
Students enrolled in postgraduate courses may negotiate rural, interstate and overseas placements individually. Please contact your Placement Officer for further information.
Scholarships
The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development’s Student Teacher Practicum Scheme provides scholarships for student teachers who are:
- required to undertake significant travel to reach their placement
- live away from home to undertake their placement
The Department also offers a variety of other Scholarships and Incentives to current and graduating education students.
